The Foundation - Institute for Child Development (IWRD) is providing comprehensive assistance to individuals with autism and related disorders and their families.
A special non-governmental kindergarten for children with autism and a clinic offering consultations and diagnostic services operates within the framework of IWRD. In addition, IWRD specialists conduct theoretical training courses throughout Poland and offer practical internships on site for therapists specializing in autism. Members of the IWRD staff present results of their scientific studies at professional conferences in Poland and internationally.
Therapy offered at IWRD is modeled on teaching methods developed by specialists at the Princeton Child Development Institute (PCDI) located in Princeton, New Jersey, USA. PCDI has a program of therapy and education for individuals with autism, training programs for professionals, and scientific studies whose results are implemented worldwide.
