The Foundation - Institute for Child Development (Fundacja-Instytut Wspomagania Rozwoju Dziecka) (IWRD) in Gdańsk was created in 2005 to provide assistance to children with autism and their families.

The following programs operate within IWRD:

-- Special Kindergarten for Children with Autism
-- Psychology and Education Clinic
-- Teacher Training Center
-- Single-grade Integrational Kindergarten

The Institute for Child Development in Gdańsk is the first replica in Europe and the only one in Poland of the Princeton Child Development Institute located in the USA.

The Foundation-Institute for Child Development operates thanks to monetary and material donations from businesses, institutions, and private individuals.
