A diagnostic consultation clinic operates within the Institute for Child Development. A professional team consisting of a psychologist and a special education teacher interview the parents, observe the child, conduct psychological tests, and make a diagnosis. If a child is diagnosed with autism, Asperger syndrome, delayed speech development, or behavior disorders, he or she is eligible for the clinic’s services.
During a series of meetings, an individual program of therapy and education is prepared based on the child’s current capabilities. In addition, IWRD specialists provide instruction to parents and other persons working with the child on the program implementation.
Clinic registrations are accepted by phone at +48-(0)-58-341-4441
