The IWRD Special Kindergarten for Children with Autism

The IWRD Special Kindergarten for Children with Autism

The IWRD Special Kindergarten for Children with Autism, a non-governmental facility providing
early development intervention and education, has been operating within the framework of the Institute
for Child Development in Gdansk since September 2006.

The main method incorporates the principles of applied behavior analysis as well as basic teaching standards.
The IWRD educational program is based on the Princeton Child Development Institute model.

Children at the kindergarten range in age from 2.5 to 7, and in some cases can be up to 8 years old. All children receive individualized therapy,
and the educational programs are precisely matched to their function levels.  Students also participate in group activities.
The most important goal is to integrate the students with their peers at mainstream kindergartens and schools.
The monthly fee per child is 700.00 PLN year round, regardless of the number of days the facility is closed.
